MEET



Keitha is an award winning journalist with two decades of experience in the field of broadcasting. She currently serves as a news anchor for Good Morning Jacksonville, First Coast News, the River City’s NBC and ABC affiliate.
Keitha has lead coverage on major hurricanes that have devastated the First Coast including hurricanes Matthew and Irma.
She’s a true storyteller with the ability to connect with audiences. Throughout her career Keitha has covered several major stories including Hurricane Katrina, the Kamiyah Mobley story and the Ahmaud Arbery shooting trial.
Keitha is a trustworthy and caring voice viewers depend on to deliver the news in an impactful, compelling and engaging way.
Most recently she’s been honored with an award from the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists for a series called The Untold Truth bringing awareness to the disproportionate rate at which Black women are dying of cancer in the United States, deep rooted disparities in health care and the historical neglect of Black women's bodies.
Keitha is active in the community having earned numerous volunteerism awards. She is a regular speaker and volunteer. Most recently she’s been honored with a Ken Knight award for her coverage and positive impact within the community.
Keitha is a native of New York City. She’s a wife and mother of twins, Journey and Trey. She shared her difficult journey to motherhood publicly on Good Morning Jacksonville and in a six-part series on YouTube where Keitha opened up about refusing to suffer in silence while undergoing In Vitro Fertilization.
She serves on the board of directors for Volunteers in Medicine. The non-profit provides medical care for Jacksonville's working uninsured. And Keitha is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
